Authors
- Charles Eisenstein — Offers a fresh take on the role of money, where it comes from, and how to put it to use to suit human needs.
- Mary Roach — Hilarious and engaging author of books about cadaver research, sex, and the afterlife (in different books).
Websites
- Money Positive Co-op — Unscary financial planning for everyone
- Freedom to Tinker — A blog that is focused on public policy regarding computing, technology, and privacy, as well as privacy in the public sector.
- Mandership — A blog (of sorts) that talks about typography and design, two subjects that I have great interest in. It hasn't been updated regularly, lately.
Causes
- Leave No Trace: I love the outdoors, and I want my children to be able to experience nature just as I have.
- Free Software: I'm a firm believer in the notion of free software not just because I don't like paying for things, but because I feel that those who keep freedom in mind when releasing software can produce great co-operative results
- Open Source Voting: I don't trust diebold, or any other company, enough to develop a system that will be used to elect government officials without a paper-trail.
